Bhai Dooj As the name suggest is a festival for Brothers ( Bhai means brothers ). This day is the last day of series of five festivals of diwali. This is the second day of New Year ( First is being Goverdhan pooja and Last day of previous year is diwali according to hindu Calendar ). This day is celebrated in the month of kartik or in the month of October/ November according to the English year. On this day Sisters invite Their Brother to house or go  to their House and Cook and feed food items which are favorite of their Brothers. And put tilak on the forehead of their brothers so their brothers can get happiness, prosperity, and get what ever they desire in their  life and in return to that brothers pledge for sisters to help them and protect them. This is quite similar to Raksha Bandhan. If a girl does not have brother then she can consider any astrologer / saint / moon as her brother. And Also brothers give gifts to sisters as well. This lovelt festival signifies the importance of brother and sister relationship.

Pooja Procedure-

1. Invite Your Brother At your Home

2. Feed the m their favorite dishes

3. Do Aarti with him

4. Put tilak on his forehead

5. And after that brother will give you the blessings.
