Numerology is the study of Numbers. Numerology Combine two words Numero + Logy, having a meaning scientific analysis of the energies associated with the numbers. As astrology inculcates planets and stars in the same manner numerology also inculcate planets and stars.  

The Major difference lies between Numerology and astrology is that in astrology we require time of birth and birth place to predict by making the horoscope chart, whereas in Numerology Nothing required except your name and date of birth. And they by analyzing the positive and negative numbers associated with the person, certain suggestions are proposed him to make his life better and smoother.

Numbers are basically categorized in two parts.

1. Single digit Number ( that is from 0 to 9 )

2. Compound digit numbers ( like 11, 34,112 etc )

Mainly single digit Numbers Are studied in numerology and each number corresponds to one star and the properties of that planet automatically correspond to that number. And the compound numbers are reached on single digit by adding the digits ( for example 1213 number would add to 1+2+1+3=6, means 1213 will have the characteristics of number 6).

Now which number is associated with which planet?

1- Sun (They are Independent, leaders, stubborn some time, selfish and aggressive)

2- Moon (Creative people, Imagination, introvert for the negative characteristics, can be easily deceived)

4- Uranus (Independent, wicked, self concentrated, research oriented, Religious attracted toward occult science, and like t o be independent and in dark, does not like public showing)

5- Mercury – (Analytic, aggressive, fast learner, scientific approach, like changes, business minds, can’t keep money, Extravagant, Showy)

6- Venus (Strong Pubic life, easily fall in love, Attractive, popular, Lucky, sometimes lose confidence, sometimes speak lies to attract people and show wisdom

7- Neptune –( They are Unlucky sometimes,  get after long time whatever they deserves, always strive for success and money, strong will power, Helpful , and Loyal )

8- Saturn – (Slow moving, always prolong work, like justice, faces health issues, unwanted obstacles, like simple living)

9- Mars- (Aggressive, short temper, Fighter, like dangerous situation, warrior, patriot, always changes their Mind, easily diverted)

If you are born on the dates of 1 to 9 or in the dates of compound number (like 23,2+3=5), then chances are there that you might bear the above characteristics. And similarly your Name also corresponds to the numbers. As alphabets in English corresponds to one number (that is a=1, b=2 …………….y=25, z=26).

Taking the Example of Name Gopal-( Now G corresponds to 7, O to 15, P to 16, A to 1 and L to 12 ) and adding all the numbers that is 7+15+16+1+12 comes to be 55 and ( 55. 5+5 =10) 55 total comes to be 10 ( And again 10 total comes to be 1 ).

So Gopal number comes to be 1 and chances are there that he might have all the characteristics of Number 1.

Different types of number as per numerology-

1. Life Path number – It is the sum of Complete date of birth. That is dependent on date of birth not on name.

2. Expression number- it tells about your strengths and weakness, and you got his at the birth time that is your inbuilt qualities. And it dependent on your name not on date of birth. That is what ever name you have just add all the alphabets numbers and you will get the expression numbers.

3. Personality number- This number is that number , what people perceives from you when they meet you first time. And some of the consonants of your name.

4. Heart Number- It is the sum of all vowels of your name and reveals your hidden qualities.
